Cheer Camp

Camp focuses on cheer tumbling with our state of the art facilities and experienced coaches, all while having the time of your lives. Our staff is committed to making this your best summer yet.

Woodward Copper Cheer Camp focuses on creating and developing essential cheer skills with athletes on an individual and team level.

Teams and individual athletes of all ability levels are encouraged to attend Summer Camp at Woodward Copper! As a part of Woodward Copper Cheer we can help you in preparation for any level of cheerleading including:

  • Competitive Cheer Teams
  • Colligate Cheer Teams
  • High school Cheer Teams
  • Recreational Cheer Teams

Each week campers can expect to work with experienced coaches alongside new friends and teammates! They will also get a chance to meet the top cheer and tumble athletes in the sport.

Each day athletes will train with their professional coaches to work on individual goals. Instruction will be focused on progression of tumbling skills, as well as motion technique and choreography.

Group instruction will be held with teams and combined groups. During this time athletes will work on team building skills including stunts, pyramids and cheers. Campers will also work on routine skills training with group instruction on jumps, choreography, and tumbling.

During the evenings The Barn will be open for optional practice. During ‘Open Barn’ sessions, teams and groups will be able to practice stunts and routines on the spring floor, as well as practice techniques while utilizing The Barn’s flybed trampoline and foam pit areas.

At the end of each week is the All Camp Talent Show! Traditionally the Cheer Camp athletes perform a routine that they have learned during the week. It is their chance to show off to the rest of camp what cheerleading is all about!
(The weekly talent show is optional for each athlete)
